Nicholas and I met while we were both working at Northwoods Scout Reservation in Lupton, Michigan. I never thought I would meet my future husband at a boy scout camp. But in fact, I surely did. We never really talked after meeting each other, but then one day we started talking and texting. He kept asking me if I would go on a date with him and I kept telling him no, that I wanted to focus on school. About three years later we started dating, and from there every day with him has been an adventure!

My favorite moment of the wedding was the first look. Nicholas was really curious to know what I was going to look like, and boy did he cry once he had seen me! It was a very sweet moment with us surrounded by our family and bridal party.

The advice I would give to new brides is to make sure that you are doing things the way you want them to be done! You don't want to regret anything from your wedding day or honeymoon, make it what you want and keep your personality in it. :)

Our wedding was at The Bridge Street Chapel in Grand Ledge, with our Reception at the Old Town Marquee. Our Photographers were Chris and Mary Holmes from Holmes Photography! They did an amazing job!
