Barn Wedding 

"Our love story began at Alma College in 2008.
I played soccer and he played football so we met during preseason before the school year started.
We first hung out in a friends dorm and were pretty much inseparable from then on.
Fast forward 8 years and my mom randomly decided she wanted family pictures done and just happened to schedule them the day before my birthday. We showed up in our planned outfits and began taking pictures. After one whole family picture the photographer decided she wanted one of just Heath and I. We got all set up and next thing I know he is down on one knee. He had actually set up the whole photographer gig and used family photos as a disguise! His parents were waiting in a pavilion nearby and had been watching the whole thing. I was so surprised!
We got married September 2, 2017 at the Northfork Estate in Eaton Rapids. It was the most beautiful venue that my gorgeous dress from Fantastic finds went perfectly with! Our phenomenal florist Bashes by Barbie and absolutely amazing photographer Marcie Kay truly made our day special. My favorite part of our day was spending it with all of our favorite people and celebrating this love and friendship we had built over the past 9 years.
We are so excited for our lifetime together!"
